Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to Manatū Hauora
(the Ministry of Health) on 7 February 2023. You requested:
“I am seeking all information held by The Ministry of Health relating to a temporal
correlation between COVID-19 “vaccines” and mortality.
I am seeking all information held by The Ministry of Health relating to any other correlations
between COVID-19 “vaccines” and mortality.
I am seeking all information held by The Ministry of Health relating to causality between
COVID-19 “vaccines” and mortality.
For clarification, this request includes all information pertaining to the above requests which
is, intentionally or otherwise, not being held by The Ministry of Health.”
On 10 February 2023 you provided the clarification below:
“To clarify the above referenced pending request: So far as it is practicable, I am seeking
information that reveals two categories: 1- Ever “vaccinated” against COVID-19, ie treated with a COVID-19 “vaccine” at any point
in time
2- Never “vaccinated” against COVID-19, ie not treated with a COVID-19 “vaccine” at any
point in time
If other category designations are used (eg “unvaccinated”, “partly vaccinated”, “fully
vaccinated”), please fully define the meanings of such designations.”
Despite your clarification, the information you have requested has not been made with the due
particularity required by section 12. Manatū Hauora is unable to respond to your request
confidently or comprehensively. Please note that section 12(2) of the Act requires that official
information requested shall be specified with due particularly for the requirements of the Act to
apply.

COVID-19 vaccine provided a 62% reduction in the risk of death during the relevant analysis
period (page 4).

2022.pdf.This is a report from the COVID-19 Vaccine Independent Safety Monitoring Board
completed in July 2022. On page 21, the Board discusses and considers potential cases where
the COVID-19 may have caused a fatal reaction.
