Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to Manatū Hauora
(the Ministry of Health) on 27 January 2023, for information regarding nominations and
appointments to Te Kaunihera Rata o Aotearoa (Medical Council of New Zealand). Please find
a response to each part of your request below.
How did you call for public nomination and on what platform you have call for public
nominations?
These roles were publicly advertised on the Manatū Hauora careers website and
jobs.govt.nz/
from 13 December 2022 to 29 January 2023.
how many applications you have received from the public and how many you have
received from other nominating agencies such as TPK or Ministry of women etc. further?
how many you have shortlisted?
As Manatū Hauora is stil receiving nominations from nominating agencies, I am unable to
advise on the final number of applications received. However, I can advise that the Ministry has
received 47 applications and nominations so far. Further, Manatū Hauora has not begun its
shortlisting process for these vacancies yet.
