Zealand (WorkSafe), requesting the following information: 
 
•  Could I please request copies of all compliance certificates issued for pyrotechnic displays 
held in Takanini, Auckland in October 2021 and October 2022 
 
Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA). 
 
Please find attached copies of the compliance certificates issued for pyrotechnic displays in 
Takanini, Auckland in October 2021 and October 2022.  
 
Some information (contact information) has been withheld from both certificates, pursuant to 
section 9(2)(a) of the OIA, to protect the privacy of natural persons. As per section 9(1) of the 
OIA, I do not consider that, in the circumstances of this case, the withholding of this information is 
outweighed by other considerations which render it desirable in the public interest to make the 
information available. 
 
You have the right, by way of complaint under section 28(3) of the OIA, to request an 
investigation and review of WorkSafe’s decision to withhold information by the Ombudsman.
