Thank you for your email of 14 December 2022 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) 
requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the fol owing information: 
 
Can you please provide us with the information of the Australian website operating in New Zealand with a 
New Zealand domain name. 
The business running online is not registered in New Zeland . 
The Disputes Tribunal has returned our application stating they don't have jurisdiction over the Austin 
company. 
 
Can you please let us know the reason freelancer.co.nz is operating in New Zealand Zeland freely but does 

not seem to fol ow any NZ laws. 
What wil .be the best agency to seek further information as they are not a registered business in New 
Zealand. 
 
MBIE has searched the Companies Office register and has not been able to find a company named ‘FREELANCER 
TECHNOLOGY’. MBIE does not hold any other information that can assist you with your query.
