Thank  you  for  your  correspondence  of  11  December  2022,  requesting  the  following 
under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
  Clarification around a statement accredited to you by Newshub Political Editor, 
Jenna Lynch in her story that aired on 01/12/22. 
 
“Kelvin Davis told us that 3 senior staff working for Oranga Tamariki on this case 
no longer work for the agency, we understand two them [sic] saw the writing on 
the wall and the 3rd went through a full employment process before they lost 
their job”. 
 
  As such please provide the exact dates the 3 senior staff ceased to work for 
Oranga Tamariki. 
 
This request is more closely connected to the functions of Oranga Tamariki; therefore, 
we have decided under section 14(b)(ii) of the Act, to transfer this request to Oranga 
Tamariki.  
 
Oranga Tamariki will have the usual time limits from receipt of this transfer to make a 
decision on your request. 
 
If you are not satisfied with this response, you have the right to ask an Ombudsman to 
review 
this 
decision.
