Thank you for your email of 6 December 2022 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment
(MBIE) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:
You advised that that selections for Parent Resident Visa Expressions of Interest (EOIs) would
resume on 14 November 2022.
The first selection was 14 November 2022.
Please advise how many Parent Resident Visa EOIs were selected on 14 November 2022.
Our Response On 14 November, 370 Expressions of Interest (EOI) in the Parent Resident Visa category pool were
selected. When an EOI is selected, the applicant(s) may be issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a
Parent Resident Visa.
