Thank you for your email of 2 December 2022, asking for the following information under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):
It is my understanding that ACC is using Snowflake and dbt as a core software capabilities to manage
the ACC data.
•
Can you please provide an overview of the procurement/tender process utilised to acquire/license
these software capabilities.
•
Can you please provide the total cost paid for subscriptions/credits/licenses, for each of these
capabilities, broken down by the financial year those costs were incurred.
•
Can you please provide the total value of any subscriptions/credits/licenses that have been
committed in advanced, for each of these capabilities, broken down by the financial year those costs
are committed for.
ACC procured Snowflake in 2020 as a direct source engagement under Rule 14.9.e.i . of the Government
Procurement Rules

ACC’s use of the DBT product is restricted to the use of the free open-source product. ACC has incurred no
costs with DBT. As such, DBT has not been included in the table below.
