OIA 22-23-15: funds advisory panel – Active Investor Plus Category Visa 
 
Thank you for your email of 28 November 2022 to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), 
making a request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). You requested the following 
information in relation to the Funds Advisory Panel for the Active Investor Plus Category Visa:  
 
“May I ask how many expression of interest you have received and how many positions you are 
intend to appointed. 
 
What is the pay rate for the panel member role and when you intend to announce your 
appointment to the public.” 
 
NZTE has received 16 expressions of interest for the advisory board panel positions and has 
approval to appoint up to five people to panel member positions. The pay rate for an appointed 
panel member is estimated to be in the range of $350-$500 per hour. The appointments are 
expected to be completed by the end of January and once these have been confirmed, NZTE 
will publish this information on its website. 
 
You have the right under section 28(3) of the Act to seek an investigation and review by the
