Information Request
I refer to your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 19 November 2022, in which you
asked for information relating to an ex-Police vehicle, Holden Commodore registration
LEK415.
My response to each of your questions can be found below.
1. All documents mentioning or relating to the vehicle
Please refer to Appendix One which is a copy of the full maintenance history for LEK415.
The information is taken from a third-party provider who manages vehicle maintenance for
Police.
2. Al internal correspondence mentioning or relating to the vehicle
A search for correspondence mentioning or otherwise relating to LEK415 has not returned
any results. This does not mean they don’t exist; however, such correspondence would be
difficult to locate if it doesn’t refer to the vehicle by its registration number. This part of your
request is therefore refused under s18(e) of the OIA, as the information does not exist or,
despite reasonable efforts to locate, cannot be found.
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision if you are not satisfied with
