Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).
We have made enquiries with the relevant Business Units and determined that the
information requested is not held by the Ministry but is believed to be held by New Zealand
Police.
In our view, it would have been necessary under section 14(b)(i) of the Act to transfer
your request to the New Zealand Police. However, we are aware that New Zealand Police
have already received a duplicate request from you, and therefore we have not transferred it.
You may expect a response from the New Zealand Police directly concerning your request.
