INFORMATION REQUEST – Communications regarding delay to hearing of
submissions on future of Tauranga Racecourse Reserve
We  write  in  response  to  your  email  dated  27  October  2022  in  which  you  requested  the
following information:
I kindly request all communications and meeting notes between any/all:
TCC commissioners and staff
any external consultants involved in the project
and any Iwi who may be affected by changes to TGA racecourse
We have considered your request in accordance with the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1987 (“LGOIMA”) and respond as follows:
You can find the information requested in the enclosed attachment.
We have redacted a small number of names and contact details under section
7(2)(a) of LGOIMA withholding is necessary to protect the privacy of natural persons
including deceased natural persons.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
