Transfer Request 
 
Thank you for your request made under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings 
Act 1987 (the Act), received on 18 October 2022. You requested the fol owing information: 
•  Any and all memos formal & informal, workshops, email correspondence between 
personnel involved in the advertising campaign targeted at Auckland Council workers 
•  Please provide all costs paid to NZ Herald or any other media entity associated with this 
campaign 
•  Please provide costs paid to any consultants / PR companies 
•  Please provide any and all communications between mayor and other personnel involved 
•  To include text messages / WhatsApp 
•  Ultimately reason for this politicking, who was involved and cost to the ratepayer 
 
We have formally transferred your request to WellingtonNZ, as the information requested is 
believed to be more closely connected with them. In these circumstances, we are required under 
section 12 of the Act to transfer your request. 
As we have transferred this request, it is effectively a new request made to that agency under the 
Act and the working day count, in terms of maximum time for making and communicating a decision 
beings again.
