OFFICIAL INFORMATION REQUEST FOR TREE REPORT & PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
OHAKUNE
I refer to your official information request dated 5 October 2022 for "Tree reports and planned
development for 6 Teitei drive:
Questions:
1./ I'd like to know if councillors had an onsite meeting to discuss the health of the trees and what was
discussed and agreed.
2./ Has any tree report been received between 11/03/2021 and now, and if so, please provide these.
3./ What is the "planned development of that site" (6 Teitei drive)?
4./ When is the planned development to take place?
Part of the information you have requested is enclosed. However, we have decided to refuse your
request for information which relates to Planned Development of Teitei Drive as this is currently a
confidential matter.
Question 1, I can confirm that Waimarino Waiouru Community Board & Council staff met
on site on the 14th April 2022
Question 2, I can confirm the Council Board referred to is the Waimarino Waiouru
Community Board and that a Tree Programme Report was presented at its meeting of 7
April 2022. Report and Minutes attached.
Questions 3 & 4, the detail is confidential at this stage
We are seeking quotes to remove the debris from the site, this process is taking longer than
we expected, however we understand a contractor wil be onsite around the 12th of
December to start removing the debris.
