Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 4 October 2022, in which you
requested:
“I would like to make a request relating to Police participation in the Australia New
Zealand Policing Advisory Agency Policing Forum on Artificial Intelligence earlier this
year.

participants included Inspector Carla Gilmore, Manager Emergent Technology at New
Zealand Police.
I would like to request copies of al speech notes, talking points and presentation
materials (e.g. PowerPoint slides) prepared for Inspector Gilmore’s participation in this
event.”
As the Manager of Emergent Technology, I participated on a panel at this Webinar. The
session format consisted of initial questions from the moderator, followed by live questions
from the audience which were submitted via a Q&A function. There were no presentation notes
or materials prepared (e.g. PowerPoint slides).
Please find attached a copy of the indicated questions provided to the panel prior to the forum.
Some questions are directed at a specific panel member to initiate the panel discussion,
however all panel members were encouraged to contribute.
