Official Information Act request relating to advice and documents from strategy and
management consultancy firms
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request received on
22 September 2022. You requested:
“(1) Please supply all advice, reports and memos including risk updates from
strategy and management consultancy firms including but not limited to:
PWC/Deloitte/Boston Consulting Group/McKinsey -Supplied to the DPMC from
November 2019 to April 1 2022 relating to COVID-19 pandemic.
This includes, but is not limited to, information and advice in the form of reports,
memos and appendices from contracted and non-contracted firms.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Risk strategy relating to virus, population management.
- Unite Against COVID-19 campaign development and deployment.
- Data and research recommendations
- Vaccine strategy
- Passport and Unite against COVID-19 campaign
- Behavioural data insights to ensure campaign goals were achieved
(2) Please identify and provide details of costs paid to - including but not limited to:
PWC/Deloitte/Boston Consulting Group/McKinsey - from November 2019 to April 1
2022 relating to COVID-19 pandemic for COVID-19 and related services.”
I have decided under section 15A of the Act to extend the time limits for deciding on your
request by an additional 20 working days. Consequently, the extended due date for your
response will be 21 November 2022.
The extension is required because of the consultations needed to make a decision on your
request. Despite the extension, a response will be sent to you as soon as possible.
