Thank you for your Of icial Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 2 September 2022, in 
which you asked for information regarding Pike River Mine.  
Please supply me any phone calls from ' Pike River control and Ben 
Rockhouse’ 
Also please supply me SCADA data in any format that is preferable to NZ 
Police. 
The information you seek is a fundamental part of the on-going criminal investigation 
into the Pike River Mine explosion, therefore your request is withheld in full pursuant to 
section 6(c) of the OIA, as the making available of the information is likely to prejudice 
the maintenance of the law, including the prevention, investigation and detection of 
offences, and the right to a fair trial. 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision if you are not satisfied
