Thank you for your email of 22 July 2022 requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982
(the Act), the following information relating to the Three Waters Reform Programme and myself
in my capacity as Minister for Local Government, since January 2017:

On 26 August 2022 my office contacted you to advise you that as your request necessitated a
search  through  a  large  quantity  of  information  and  meeting  the  original  time  limit  would
unreasonably interfere with the operations of my office, we would be extending the timeframe
in which we would provide a response to you.
Regarding  the  first  part  of  your  request  relating  to  correspondence  between  myself  and
Deloitte, this is refused pursuant to section 18(e) of the  Act as this documentation does not
exist.  In  this  instance,  Deloitte  was  engaged  by  the  Department  of  Internal  Affairs  (the
Department) to produce this work. I understand that you have made a similar request to the
Department to request this correspondence.
Please find attached as Appendix A (Parts A – D), correspondence between myself and the
following groups and individuals you have highlighted in the second part of your request. The
