On 26 August 2022 my office contacted you to advise you that as your request necessitated a
search through a large quantity of information and meeting the original time limit would
unreasonably interfere with the operations of my office, we would be extending the timeframe
in which we would provide a response to you.
Regarding the first part of your request relating to correspondence between myself and
Deloitte, this is refused pursuant to section 18(e) of the Act as this documentation does not
exist. In this instance, Deloitte was engaged by the Department of Internal Affairs (the
Department) to produce this work. I understand that you have made a similar request to the
Department to request this correspondence.
