Thank you for your email of 22 July 2022 to the Department of Internal Affairs requesting

On 2 September 2022, the Department extended the time to respond to your request by 20
working days under section 15A(1)(b) of the Act.
The Department has decided under section 15(1) of the Act to grant your request. However,
this process is ongoing due to consultations necessary to release information to you
requiring completion. The formal response wil be provided to you on or before 14
November 2022 and, in accordance with section 16(e) of the Act, will contain a summary of
the correspondence you have requested. However, we wil endeavour to provide this to you
sooner if possible.
You have the right, under section 28(3) of the Act, to make a complaint to an Ombudsman
