On 2 July 2022, you sent the fol owing request to the Cabinet Office under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
I am requesting, pursuant to the statute created under the Official Information Act 
1982, a record of times 'Whangārei', or 'Whangarei', has been mentioned in Cabinet 
papers from the date beginning 26 October 2017 to present. 
I am also requesting copies of documentation/discussion on the topic of 
'Whangārei/Whangarei', from said Cabinet minutes, presentations, documents, or 
other materials. 
On 24 August, the Cabinet Office partial y transferred your request to the Ministry for Ethnic 
Communities (the Ministry) under section 15A of the Act. 
The Ministry does not hold the information you have requested. As such, your request is 
refused under section 18(e) of the Act, that the document al eged to contain the information 
requested does not exist. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of our response
