I refer to your email, which we received on 27 August 2014, requesting the organisation 
structure for Auckland Council. 
 
The attached document shows the positions that exist in the organisational structure. The 
bold text in the chart indicates an element of the organisational structure, such as a 
department or team name and are not positions.  
 
It is also important to note that while a position might exist within the organisation structure it 
is not necessarily filled and therefore this document cannot be taken as a record of staff 
numbers. Of the positions that are open, the majority are not being recruited. Data regarding 
the number of staff will be included in the annual report.
