I have interpreted your request to be asking for details regarding a change in name for the 
Christchurch District and High Court. 
I can confirm that the official name of the building you are referring to is the Christchurch 
District and High Court. The Christchurch District Court and High Court are based in the 
building known as the Christchurch Justice and Emergency Services Precinct. The precinct 
as a whole has the gifted title of Te Omeka. The reference to Otautahi is not included in the 
official title of the building. 
I am advised that the name of the Christchurch District and High Court has not been 
changed.
