Council has received correspondence from the Ombudsman dated 25 August 2022 informing that you
have made a complaint concerning Council’s response to your request for information in May 2022.
Council informed you that you could make an application to the Court for copies of the documents and
transferred your request to the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry also advised that you could make an
application to the Court.
The documents were released by the High Court to Stuff following an application made by a journalist in
June (Court reference CIV 2022-419-120).
The documents relate to judicial review proceedings served on Council by the applicant Cr Rimmington.
Proceedings have been withdrawn.
