INFORMATION REQUEST – Emails between Chair and CEO, and three community
leaders
We write in response to your email dated 25 May 2022 in which you requested the following
information:
Please may I request all emails since 01 Jan 2021 between Taraunaga City
Council CEO Marty Grenfell and/or Commissioner Anne Tolley and the below
to/from:
Buddy Mikare ([email address], [email address])
Sally Cooke Lemberg ([email address])
Matt Cowley ([email address])
We have considered your request in accordance with the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1987 (“
LGOIMA”) and respond as follows:
We are processing your request. However, the information you requested is relatively large
in scope and will require significant council resource to complete. We have completed an
initial search of our email records and identified approximately 555 documents potentially
relevant to your request. These will need to be reviewed against the scope of your request
and assessed for release. This will take significant staff time, and we will need to charge for
this. The indicative charge is $760, based on 10 chargeable hours. Any unused component
of the charge would be refunded to you.
Before we proceed further with your request, please confirm your agreement to meet the
charge for your request by
Thursday 16 June 2022. If we do not hear from you by this
date, we may refuse your request.
