Thank you for your email of 23 May 2022, to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment
(MBIE) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information:
I would like to request some information regarding culturally arranged marriage visa
application:
1. Can you please advise how many applications are in queue as of 23/05/2022?
2. Can you please advise what is the current date for which applications for culturally arranged
marriage visas are being processed?
Our Response
Due to the limitations of our reporting system, we are unable to provide an accurate figure on the queue
size as at 23 May 2022. We can however advise you that as at 1 June 2022 there were 118 Culturally
Arranged Marriage (CAM) visa applications awaiting allocation.
The oldest unallocated CAM application was lodged on 5 April 2022.
