Official Information Act request relating to the RCOI Response Steering Group (follow-
up)  
 
Thank  you  for  your  Official  Information  Act  1982  (the  Act)  request  received  by  on 
11 May  2022. You requested: 
 
1)  “A copy of the [RCOI Response Steering Group] terms of reference 
2)  The group’s membership list 
3)  Copies of the agenda and minutes of all of the group’s meetings” 
In our previous response to you of 24 May 2022, the Department of the Prime Minister and 
Cabinet  (DPMC)  advised  you  that  the  agendas  of  the  meetings  are  contained  within  the 
proactively released minutes.  
 
Those  proactively  released  documents  are  available  on  the  DPMC  website  at 
dpmc.govt.nz/our-programmes/national-security/royal-commission-inquiry-terrorist-attack-
christchurch-masjidain-5.  
 
It has since been brought to our attention however, that between November 2020 and May 
2021, due to resource constraints, minutes were not prepared for some meetings, but these 
meetings  did  have  written  agendas.  I  note  that  these  are  the  only  agendas  to  which  this 
situation applies.  
 
I  have  decided  to  release  these  agendas to  you  in  full  under the  Act  and  apologise  for  our 
oversight in omitting these in our initial response.   
 
We do not intend to publish this response on the DPMC website.
