Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 9 May 2022 seeking a copy 
of the post-exercise report for Exercise INTENSITY. Conducted in November 2021, Exercise 
INTENSITY was a national cyber security exercise conducted through the National Security 
System National Exercise Programme, and led by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).  
The National Security System’s National Exercise Programme is chaired by the National 
Emergency Management Agency, hosted within the Department of the Prime Minister and 
Cabinet.  
Please find attached a copy of the post-exercise report. Some information has been withheld 
under section 6(a) of the OIA, as release of this information would likely prejudice the 
security or defence of New Zealand or the international relations of the Government of New 
Zealand.
