Thank you for your request made under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings 
Act 1987 (the Act), received on 5 May 2022. You requested the fol owing information: 
 
The 4 Electric Car Chargers located in the Waitohi car park off Wanaka Street, Johnsonville. 
 
Usage information is request for the amount of these chargers are used.  More specifically, this 
requests the data from which the fol owing can be derived: 
 * amount of time each hour of each day that Zero Chargers are used 
 * amount of time each hour of each day that One Charger is used 
 * amount of time each hour of each day that Two Chargers are used 
 * amount of time each hour of each day that Three Chargers are used 
 * amount of time each hour of each day that All Four Chargers are used 
 
1) Can the WCC please provide a sample copy of a Car Charger usage report for one day? 
2) Can the WCC please provide the detailed data from which the hourly usage for each of the car 
chargers for each day over the months of February, March and April 2022 can be derived? 
3) If it is easier, the raw, anonymized, charger transaction data for each of these car chargers over 
the requested months can be provided as an alternative to item 2). 
 
The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days 
after the day we received your request. Unfortunately, it wil  not be possible to meet that time 
limit and we are therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the time to make our decision, 
to 17 June 2022.  
This extension is necessary because consultations with external teams is necessary to make a 
decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the 
original time limit. 
 
Right of review 
If you are not satisfied with the Council’s response, you may request the Office of the Ombudsman 
to investigate the Council’s decision. Further information is available on the Ombudsman website, 
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
