I refer to your official information request dated 15 April 2022, for the following information: 
•  The number of incidents attended by Fire and Emergency NZ staff at the Dixon Street flats 
(134 Dixon Street) in the months of March 2022 and April 2022 
•  The reasons for these incidents 
•  The cumulative OPEX costs to Kāinga Ora relating to these incidents. 
 
We have transferred the following parts of your request to Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ) as the 
information to which these parts of your request relates is believed to be more closely connected with 
the functions of FENZ. In these circumstances, we are required by section 14 of the OIA to transfer 
your request. You wil  hear further from FENZ concerning these parts of your request.  
•  The number of incidents attended by Fire and Emergency NZ staff at the Dixon Street flats 
(134 Dixon Street) in the months of March 2022 and April 2022 
•  The reasons for these incidents 
 
We wil  endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible and in any event no later than 17 
May 2022, being 20 working days after the day your request was received by Kāinga Ora in 
accordance with section 15(1) of the OIA. If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we wil  
notify you of an extension of that timeframe.
