Dear Richard

Request made under the Official Information Act 1982

Thank you for your emails of 28 March 2022 and 7 April 2022 requesting the fol owing information
under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):

… it would be particularly helpful to receive the 15minute interval traffic count data for the AHB
from Feb 2022-date.
…
Under the OIA please can you now provide 15 minutes count data (with Light & Heavy split if
available) for stations 01N19424 and 01N29424 covering the SB and NB flows on the AHB. This
should be in the same Excel format as you have previously provided and extend from 1/2/22 until
the end of March 2022 (or later if readily available).
I also understand that […] the movable barrier has not been fol owing the regular movement patter
you provided to me previously. Therefore please can you also provide me with dates, times and
lane details since 1/2/22.

The information you have requested has been provided in the fol owing spreadsheets:
•  AHB data Feb to Mar 2022.
•  AHB barrier machine movements from Feb 2022

The information should be considered in conjunction with the following caveats:
•  Total traffic count and heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) count has been provided for each
direction.
•  HCV volumes are considered invalid for much of the period requested. This is due to a
classification issue producing inaccurate results for one lane in each direction. Data is valid for
site 01N19424, SB, between 20 February 2022 and 8 March 2022. Data is valid for site
01N29424 NB between 20 February 2022 and 28 February 2022.
•  The anti-mandate protest march used the southbound lane of the Auckland Harbour Bridge on
26 February 2022. The traffic volumes during the time of the march are significantly lower
because of this.
•  Some traffic count data is unavailable. Data is unavailable for site 01N19424 SB on 1 April
2022. Data is unavailable for site 01N29424 NB between 29 March 2022 and 1 April 2022.
