Information Request –Dunstan Rural Fire Station
I refer to your official information request dated 4 April 2022 asking for:
…any information in regards to the new Dunstan Rural Fire station being built alongside
the existing Alexandra Fire Station. This would include the likely vehicles (make, model,
year, rego, callsigns) that would be based at this station as well as any other relevant
information.
In accordance with the provisions of the Official Information Act 1982, I
enclose the Station Profile
for the Dunstan Rural Fire Party (RFP, also known as Rural Fire Brigade).
As the Dunstan Rural Fire Station is a new, some parts of the Station Profile are incomplete.
As of 11 April 2022, the Fire and Emergency Brigade records lists the following appliances as being
registered to the Dunstan RFP:
• DUNS6711 – 2007 Volvo FL Medium Tanker (On loan from Waitaki). Reg KGE409
• DUNS6726 – 2006 Nissan Navara double cab ute. Reg CRD854
• DUNS6771 – 2010 Isuzu NPS300 Medium rural appliance. Reg FJP714
• DUNS6772 – 201 Isuzu NPS300 Medium rural appliance. Reg FSH560
