Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 8 March 2022 in which 
you asked:

I formal y request all media, videos, photos etc relating to the Wellington Protest
held at Parliament grounds and the surrounding areas from Wednesday 2 March
2022
Police is currently undertaking a criminal investigation into activity that occurred at the 
Wel ington protest on 2 March 2022. Al  media (including videos and photos) Police holds 
in relation to this is part of that investigation.  
Therefore, your request is refused under s6(c) of the OIA, as the making available of the 
information is likely to prejudice the maintenance of the law including the prevention, 
investigation and detection of offences and the right to a fair trial. 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision if you are not satisfied 
with the response to your request. Information about how to make a complaint is available 
at: www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
