Dear Oscar
Thank you for your request dated 27 February 2022 requesting information
relating to blockchain addresses of seized cryptocurrency. Your request below
has been considered in accordance with the Of icial Information Act 1982 (OIA):
I request a list of all of the blockchain addresses of the seized
cryptocurrency made by the New Zealand Police.
Police does not collate this information in a readily accessible manner therefore I
refuse your request per section 18(f) of the OIA, as providing this information
would require substantial collation.
If you are not satisfied with the decision made in this response you are entitled to
complain to the Ombudsman and seek an investigation and review.
