Thank you for your request on 20 February 2022, regarding various works in Manurewa. The information has 
been collated from various business units within Auckland Transport. 
Hil  Road and Claude Road is currently out for consultation and further information of the proposed plan can 
be found at the following link: Hill-road-and-claude-road-manurewa-intersection-improvements  
The Coxhead Road and Mahia Road upgrade is still underway. I have attached a letter sent out on 16 
December 2021 to advise the public of road safety improvements and a zip file containing three additional 
supporting documents. 
The Grande Vue and the Hil  Road intersection is stil  in investigation stage. Given its proximity to the 
motorway on-ramp and off-ramps, the investigation is to be undertaken in consultation with ATOC and Waka 
Kotahi. The investigation is yet to determine if signalisation is a viable scheme design. 
Mahia Road and Rangi Road east-west connection is stil  underway and further information of the proposed

At this stage there is no proposed plan for Popes Road as the upgrade at this stage as it’s stil  under 
investigation.
