Given the nature of your request, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC)
has considered your request under the provisions of both the Official Information Act 1982
(OIA) and the Privacy Act 2020.
On 23 February 2022, an official from DPMC contacted you to advise we have interpreted
your request to be for any information held by DPMC which has been generated specifically

from the posts you have created and published on LinkedIn. As we did not receive a
response from you, we understood this to be your agreement with our interpretation of your
request.
DPMC does not monitor social media or networking profiles and therefore does not hold any
information pertaining to these posts. Your request is therefore refused under section 18(e)
of the OIA and section 53(a) of the Privacy Act, that the information requested does not exist,
or despite reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be found.
You have the right to ask the Privacy Commissioner and Ombudsman to investigate and
review my decision under section 70 of the Privacy Act and section 28(3) of the OIA.
