[FYI request #18299 email]
Dear Chuck
Thank you for your Official Information Act request, received on 25 January 2022. Your
request was:
Please provide any and all correspondence/warnings that New Zealand is
heading towards economic collapse and Hyperinflation.
Please provide the definition of Hyperinflation
Please provide your qualifications/competence and any and all experience you
have associated with financial institutions - does an arts degree entitle you to
bankrupt our country
Do you know Venezuela had a national debt in 2016 at $120B?
It is now time to stop printing money
Do you know there are countries, states that have no restrictions and never had
any while New Zealand is running a nanny state by politicians who never have
had a real job.
Wake up you incompetent fool and open the country back up before you wreck
something you can't fix, unless that is the plan?
I hold no information relevant to the first part of your request regarding economic collapse
and hyperinflation. I have decided to refuse this part of your request under section 18(e)
of the Official Information Act:
that the document alleged to contain the information requested does not exist or,
despite reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be found.
The rest of the information you requested is not
‘official information’ as outlined in
section 2 of the Official Information Act. I am therefore refusing this part of your request
under section 18(g) of the Official Information Act because I do not hold any
‘official
information’:
the information requested is not held by me, and there are no grounds for
believing that the information is held by, or more closely connected to the
functions of, another department, Minister or organisation.
This reply addresses the information you requested. You have the right to ask the
Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision.
Yours sincerely
Hon Grant Robertson
Minister of Finance
