Official Information Act Request: Bullying and harassment  
 
Thank you for your email of 4 February 2022, in which you sought further clarification of my 
3 February 2022 response to your Official Information Act request of 19 January 2022.   
 
Your initial request concerned a request for all briefings and other communications to or from 
the Minister of Justice on the subjects of workplace bullying and sexual harassment within 
the Ministry of Justice since September 2017. 
 
You have further asked: I have communicated concerns about workplace bullying and 
sexual harassment at the Ministry of Justice to the Minister of Justice myself.  Please explain 
your reply in light of this fact. 
 
As explained in my response of 3 February, Ministers do not usually get involved in 
employment issues.  
If you are not satisfied with my response, you have the right to complain to the Ombudsman
