Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to the Ministry of 
Health (the Ministry) on 13 December 2021 for information regarding the COVID-19 response. 
You asked for information related to your previous request as follows: 
In a document dated 17 September you released to me recently in response to an OIA 
request, completing a "review of response to outbreak to date" is referred to as a Ministry 
of Health focus at the time (p.5):

I will respond to each part of your request in turn. 
1) A copy of this interim review
The draft interim review of the outbreak was provided to senior leadership for review on 24 
December 2021. As feedback and discussion is ongoing, the interim review is refused under 
section 9(2)(f)(iv) of the Act to maintain the constitutional conventions that protect the 
confidentiality of advice tendered by Ministers and officials. I have considered the countervailing 
public interest in release in making this decision and consider that it does not outweigh the need 
to withhold at this time. 
2) Copies of any other interim reviews of the outbreak response completed since this
one.”
This part of your request is refused under section 18(e) as the information requested does not 
exist.
