Official Information Act request relating to COVID-19 Public Health Response 
(Protection Framework) Order 2021 - Follow up 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request received on 6 July 2022. 
You requested: 
 
“ANY and ALL CORRESPONDENCE, EMAILS, MEETING MINUTES, MEMOS and or 
LEGAL ADVICE the GOVT OBTAINED that show it is legal for a NON REGULATED 
business to use the CVC scheme/system/rules for their CUSTOMERS.” 
 
The requested information showing what is legal for non-regulated businesses is legal 
advice. I am therefore refusing your request under section 9(2)(h) of the Act,  as the 
withholding of the information you have requested is necessary to maintain legal professional 
privilege. 
 
Furthermore, as stated in our previous response to your request dated 4 February 2022, the 
result of the information that you have requested is publicly available in the form of the 
COVID-19 Public Health Response (Protection Framework) Order 2021  which you can
