I refer to your official information request dated 11 November 2021 asking for: 
 
Can you please provide an incident report for F3352885 and also the Bromley Wastewater 
Treatment Plant fire in Christchurch. 
 
We wrote to you on 9 December 2021 enclosing SMS Incident Report F3352885 for Antonio Hall.  
We also advised of an extension to the time limit to make a decision on the remainder of your 
request due to the consultations necessary. 
 
In accordance with the provisions of the Official Information Act 1982, I enclose the SMS Incident 
Report for the Bromley Wastewater Plant.  Some information has been redacted to protect the 
privacy of individuals identified in the report. 
 
Please note the SMS Incident Report provided to you is generated by Fire and Emergency New 
Zealand’s electronic station management system (SMS Report). In SMS Reports, ‘Notifications’ and 
‘Message Log’ fields are reported in real time as fire crews and our communication centres 
communicate with each other during the incident. They are not the official final records of 
incidents but word for word transcripts of ‘live’ situations as they occur. They may contain spelling
