Thank you for your official information request regarding the minutes of the 2DHB Board meeting held 
on 1 September 2021 which was received by Hutt Valley District Health Board (Hutt Valley DHB) 28 
October 2021. You requested the following information: 
 
Please forward me the public excluded minutes of the September 3rd meeting, or whichever 
meeting considered the issue, to provide Te Awakairangi Birthing Unit with a contract. This to 
include the votes recorded for and against.

Please find attached the minutes of the Board meeting (public excluded section) held on 1 September 
2021 that relate to Te Awakairangi Birthing Centre, specifically item 0.1 of the agenda. Items 1-7.4 of the 
public excluded agenda have not been included as they are out of the scope of the request.
