Request for information 
Thank you for your Of icial Information Act 1982 (OIA) request, dated 1 October 
2021, asking for correspondence with the Behavioural Insights Team.  
You requested: 
Please provide all communications with the Wellington and London offices 
of the Behavioural Insights Team since the 2017 general election. Please 
also include any and all strategy documents, discussion papers, and 
meeting notes from the beginning of that period up until the present. 
On the 20 November 2021 and 26 November 2021 Ministerial Services emailed 
you to confirm you were are only interested in emails between the London and 
Wellington offices. As of 10 December 2021 you have not responded. 
Police have not identified any correspondence with the London and Wellington 
offices of the Behavioural Insights Team in scope of your request. Therefore, 
your request is refused under s18(e) of the OIA, as the documents alleged to 
contain the information you have requested do not exist.  
If you are not satisfied with my response to your request, you have the right 
under s28(3) to ask the Ombudsman to seek an investigation and review of my 
decision.
