Thank you for your request under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act) on 10 September 
2021 for: 
 
“…copies of all minutes for HDEC meetings where research submitted through the 
COVID-19 emergency pathway was discussed, dated since the beginning of October 
2020. In other words, I request copies of all COVID-19 Health and Disability Ethics 
Committee meeting minutes, dated since the beginning of October 2020.” 
 
The requested minutes are publicly available on the Health and Disability Ethics Commit ee 
(HDEC) website at the following link: www.ethics.health.govt.nz/about-the-committees/meeting-
dates-venues-and-minutes/extra-meetings/. The minutes can be found under the ‘COVID-19 
ESOP Minutes from September 2020 - to date’ heading.  Please note, these minutes date back 
to September 2020.
