• final tweaks were to pull the design 3mm from the
spine to eliminate possibility of orphaned fronds and
pull the island from the spine; upper small frond
removed.
• drawing is with DIA (already half approved)
• die plate being produced
• note that there is a +/- 2mm tolerance on the final
cutting of the book – the reference point is not the foil
design but the captions on the datapage inside book.
• awaiting approval on final design sent
• Annette had asked for shifting of fern but the amount
available (limited by the width of the foil roll to about
5mm) didn’t warrant recreation of die
• after internal review, font to be changed to be closer
in line to original Clemengers font family
