Dear Ms Murtagh, 
On the 5 August 2021, you sent an email under the Official Information Act 1982 
(OIA) requesting the following: 
• Please provide the total number of complaints both personal and
corporate by the Commissioner to the Independent Police Conduct
Authority of New Zealand (IPCA) between 20th April 2021 and 27th April
2021.
The total number of section 15 notifications (complaints) to the Independent 
Police Conduct Authority in the time-period specified (20 to 27 April 2021 
inclusive) is 15. 
You have the right, under section 28(3) of the OIA, to ask the Ombudsman to 
review my decision if you are not satisfied with the way I have responded to your 
request.
