Health (the Ministry) on 22 July 2021 for: 
 
“…the daily number of places each day that have become available on the MIQ booking 
website over the last two months.” 
 
The Ministry does not hold any information regarding your request. However, I have been 
advised that this information is held by the Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment 
(MBIE), as they hold the responsibility of the managed isolation and quarantine facilities. For 
this reason, I have decided to transfer your request in full to MBIE under section 14 of the Act. 
You can expect a response from MBIE in due course.   
 
Under section 28(3) of the Act you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision 
to transfer your request.
