Sale Prices - Housing 
Thank you for your request made under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings 
Act 1987 (the Act), transferred from Wellington Regional Council on 21 July 2021. You requested 
the fol owing information: 
• The average sale price of all residential houses in Wellington?
• The annual data from 2000 to 2021, with the data for 2021 to include the most recent
transactions when calculating the price.
Wel ington City Council (the Council) has refused your request for information. The information you 
have requested has not been provided under section 17(g) as the information requested is not held 
by the local authority.  The Council does hold some information regarding property but not the sale 
price of residential properties.
