Dear John Luke
Official Information Act request relating to members of the decimal coinage design
committee
Thank you for your request made under the Official Information Act (the Act), received on
8 June 2021. You requested:
“May I request that you supply the name of other member who was on the government
appointed design committees for decimal coinage and bank notes, and the Advisory
Council for the selection of New Zealand postage stamps. Also, their bio if you have
them. Term of reference for both group and it's member's pay rate. How did you call for
public express of interest for these roles and what agency/website you used to
advertised the role for these two groups.”
I believe that the information you have requested is more closely connected with the functions
of The Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Accordingly, I have decided under section 14(b)(ii) of
the Act to transfer your request to The Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has the usual timeframes under the Act from receipt of this
transfer to make a decision on your request.
Yours sincerely
Sarah Corbett
