Is NZS 4304:2002 an old standard? 
If it is outdated, which standard has superseded NZS 4304:2002? 
If I have any question regarding the content of this standard, which governmental or public 
authority can give me any advice? 
We  would  like  to  advise  you  that  NZS  4304:2002  Management  of  Healthcare  Waste  standard  was 
published in 2002. Although the standard is 19 years old, it is still current and has not been superseded.  
This standard is cited in Building Code Compliance Document G15, Section: AS1. The Building System 
Performance  branch  (the  Building  Regulator)  is  within  the  Ministry  of  Business,  Innovation  and 
Employment  (the  Ministry).  The  Building  Regulator  has  sponsored  access  to  view  and  print  a  single 
downloadable PDF copy of this standard at no charge.
