I refer to your official information request which was transferred to Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service
Commission from the Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) on 4 June 2021,
where you asked for:

copy of the employment contract for the Chief Executive of MBIE (Carolyn Tremain)”
Information publicly available
Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission (the Commission) proactively releases documents
associated with the appointments of Chief Executives. The documents for the appointment of the
Chief Executive of MBIE can be found at the link outlined in the table below.
The Commission also publicly reports on chief executive pay in order to provide transparency to the
public. This information is presented to the nearest thousand dol ars, in accordance with standard
accounting practice and to be consistent with a determination by the Ombudsman. A link to Chief
Executive remuneration can also be found at the link outlined in the below table.
