Thank you for your request dated 31 May 2021 seeking information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 relating to a camera located at 24 McFarland St, Remuera.  Your 
request was: 
Can I please request information around the camera on the property of 24 
McFarland St, camera is pointing directly to the road filming cars going up and 
down McFarland Road in Remuera. I believe this looks like an ANPR camera and 
linked to the road safety program. 
Can you please confirm if this camera is linked to the police. 
To the best of our knowledge there is no Police camera at this location. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this 
decision.
